Online sessions will take place twice a year and provide trainers with valuable CPD, as well as an opportunity for peer support and the chance to review and discuss the following:

• Clarify specific aspects of PBMpro training content. There will be different key topics at each meeting.
• Consider the broader responsibilities of the trainer, e.g. RRN & BILD ACT requirements and preparation for training observations.
• Share training tips and suggestions for CPD and self-reflection.

The sessions will be introduced by the Lead Trainer (Mark Hilley) and are aimed at involving all trainers but may be particularly useful for lone trainers within services – given that opportunities for peer feedback and exchange of ideas will, by definition, be limited in these circumstances. Anyone currently undertaking a trainer course may also benefit from the sessions and is welcome to join and participate.

The first session is on Wednesday 27th March 1pm – 3pm. The key topics will be Perception/Proxemics and Attribution Theory.  Click here to watch a recording of the webinar.

The second session is on Wednesday 16th October 1pm-3pm. The key topic will cover Unit 6: Legal Concepts relating to the use of Physical Interventions. A link to join the meeting will be added later.
